The 60s were a time of sports cars being sports cars and all the beauty that came with them. The marvel of engineering in the Birdcage Maserati and the brute power of the D type Jaguar were something to see. Today they can still be seen in various classic races and still are worth a watch. This being mainly done as a color study to be developed into a full painting in the future. This was done in Gouache on clayboard my new favorite medium.
I completed art school in my later years to fufill a long time desire. I have been fortunate enough to have been represented by "Skys the Limit" art gallery and had my work shown in several magazines including "Review International" "Street Rodder" and "Military Modeller" I have also done endless concept drawings for several collector companies. This helped strengthen my sketching and drawing abilities. Finally I am thankful to those that have thought enough of my work to purchase it and hang it on their walls.
