Formula One in the 60s was a time of man and machine. This drawing shows the technology of the time that fascinates me and the quality of a hand built vehicle. A time when the red Ferrari did battle with the red Maserati. I chose the Maserati for the scoop to balance the composition and besides the name Maserati is just fun to say. I enjoyed trying to capture the reflections of the mechanicals in the gloss red paint.

I completed art school in my later years to fufill a long time desire. I have been fortunate enough to have been represented by "Skys the Limit" art gallery and had my work shown in several magazines including "Review International" "Street Rodder" and "Military Modeller" I have also done endless concept drawings for several collector companies. This helped strengthen my sketching and drawing abilities. Finally I am thankful to those that have thought enough of my work to purchase it and hang it on their walls. I enjoy machinery the most with a strong attention to the form fits function, yet being what I find pleasing to the eye. The technology also fascinates me.
