The Triceratops happens to be my favorite dinosaur and so became a subject of this pencil study. It roamed the earth during the Cretaceous period eating the rich foliage and growing to enormous size. The Cretaceous period is also when the first flowering plants are recorded, as well as the much more sinister and well known T Rex. Here a small herd are very protective of a recent nest where the eggs lie in wait to hatch.
I completed art school in my later years to fufill a long time desire. I have been fortunate enough to have been represented by "Skys the Limit" art gallery and had my work shown in several magazines including "Review International" "Street Rodder" and "Military Modeller" I have also done endless concept drawings for several collector companies. This helped strengthen my sketching and drawing abilities. Finally I am thankful to those that have thought enough of my work to purchase it and hang it on their walls. I enjoy machinery the most with a strong attention to the form fits function, yet being what I find pleasing to the eye. The technology also fascinates me. Thank you for taking the time to view my work and please feel free...
